Whom ever said the words will never hurt you in the childhood song, Sticks & Stones, was wrong. Words are very powerful. You can turn a very small word into a threat. People feel threatened more often from what you say from how you physically threatened them. There are thousands and thousands of words that are used everyday to verbally abuse someone. You may not know that what you are saying to someone could hurt them more than your fist. Watch what you say because you never know how that person perception is.

Something I also stick by is, "Words Mean Things." Understand that what you say can mean something totally different to someone else. Whack in one culture means not good. Whack in another culture means to hit. When communicating, make sure the person you intend the message for understands what you mean.
Yea i completely agree with this blog. but its times wen i say stuff that may hurt someone. bt now after dis blog ima watch wat i say
your right ,words can hurt and insult someone , but what we have to realize is that some people are imature and we cant feed into every little word they say if we do well just give them more power.
I understand and agree with what you say because scars and bruises heal but you remember words forever. There's no sch thing as "forgive AND forget" because forget when someone scorned you is nearly impossible. I am happy that there are people who can look past things like that but I myself know that i can hold a grudge and seek revenge...i might blog about this myself...
u cant say that because some people have low self esteem and they may be goin threw somethin and u can be da reason y that person kills her/him self...so in all this just watch wat u say
