Cheating!!!!

Cheating (also called gulling) is an act of lying, deception, fraud, trickery, imposture, or imposition. Cheating characteristically is employed to create an unfair advantage, usually in one's own interest, and often at the expense of others. Cheating implies the breaking of rules.

The term "cheating" is less applicable to the breaking of laws, as illegal activities are referred to by specific legal terminology such as fraud or corruption. Cheating is a primordial economic act: getting more for less, often used when referring to marital infidelity.With regard to human relationships, couples tend to expect sexual monogamy of each other. If so, then cheating commonly refers to forms of infidelity, particularly adultery.


However, there are other divisions of infidelity, which may be emotional. Cheating by thinking of, touching and talking with someone you are attracted to may be equally damaging to one of the parties. Emotional cheating may be correlated to that of emotional abuse, which to date is treated as seriously in a court of law as physical cheating. With the expansion of understanding of other cultures, there is a wide spectrum of what cheating means.



When in a committed relationship, the definition of cheating is based on both parties opinions and both parties may redefine their understanding to match the party at an either lower or higher extreme of this definition. Some couples simply believe that cheating constitutes doing anything, whether verbal or physical, that one would not do in front of their significant other. Such examples would include: expressing attraction to another person, electronic communications, kissing, making out, and sexual relations.

I dont agree with cheating. I think you should treat someone the way you want 2 be treated. If you have to go and cheat on somebody you shouldnt be in a relationship at all.

Minor Set Back...

Is there every a time when you cant decifiere between two descions? How do you choose the best one for you? How do you overcome that bump in the road that has you off course? Life gives you many choices everyday. Is there a wrong/right way for picking? Even though your choice will set you on a different route it will always set up back on the main road.

No one can take away the peace that the silence of thought brings to you. You think to yourself could such a place exsist. Is this merely a fantasy. Is this what they call a dream. Because its far from reality.

Fear

What prompts us to have this feeling? Is it something we've done in our past That didn't seem to bother you before But has caught up with you at last?
I have a friend that has this feeling And it's not a very good one, I should say Living her life wondering if She'll live to see another day.
It's not to say that something is wrong with her But who's to say that there's not. She hasn't been to see a doctor yet However, she hasn't been feeling so hot.
But all this fear rests on her She should have listened to what the Bible said Yet she chose to go her own way And listen to her peers instead.
Now she's the one who is harboring The fear of what may be ahead For one day she may get so ill, Someone may find her dead.
But not all is at lost Because she wised up in time; To look forward to a time & place To where she will have peace of mind.

Sticks & Stones May Break My Bones But Words Will Never Hurt Me!!

Whom ever said the words will never hurt you in the childhood song, Sticks & Stones, was wrong. Words are very powerful. You can turn a very small word into a threat. People feel threatened more often from what you say from how you physically threatened them. There are thousands and thousands of words that are used everyday to verbally abuse someone. You may not know that what you are saying to someone could hurt them more than your fist. Watch what you say because you never know how that person perception is.

Greed

Greed is the selfish desire for or pursuit of money, wealth, power, food, or other possessions, especially when this denies the same goods to others.

Many people are greedy and they don't even know it. What type of satisfaction does a greedy person get from being a complete menace to others. There is more than enough of everything in the world for everyone. And if you don't already have it for yourself that means you don't need it at all. Greed leads to being lonely. Being lonely leads to your self dimiss. Is that what you want for yourself for you to be your own murderer.

Life & Death

Life & Death. Are we really alive walking or merely living a lie. This tree is proclaimed to be alive but you can see that this statement is only 50% true. Are we living a dead life? Will we ever answer the unkown? Life & Death, one in the same. When something dies it brings a new life. They work hand and hand.

Chicago's Big Turn 4 The Gay Community

The Chicago School board has created a school for young people of the Gay Community. The school officals believe that in public school the student's aren't getting a full education because they are being judged. The school will not be for just gay teen's its for any student who is looking for a change in society's eyes. The name of this new school is The School for Social Justice Pride. School officials said the standards and curriculum for the school would be in line with other schools in the district. The school would also offer counseling for students, though because of federal laws, officials cannot ask students about their sexual orientation. The curriculum would not rely on, but would incorporate lessons about, sexual identity in history and literature classes, officials said.
"It's about creating another option for kids," Edelman said. "When it comes down to it, though, it is all about having a choice and providing high-quality options for students, whether they are gay or not."
My question to you is do you think it's right for them to seperate themselves from the rest of the world? Do you think this new school will help the student's? What if this plan for seperation starts a world wide epidemic for all social group?

Race, Color, Presidential Candidates!!!

Why is it that race is a big factor in this years Presidential Election? Does the color of one's skin determine how successful they are? Obama has more than showed his ability to lead this country as President. Currently Senator Obama, is just slightly ahead of McCain. But, the race shouldn't be this close. The media proclaims that the color of Obama's skin is the reason he isn't taking the bigger lead. Why should the color of his skin matter? Black American, White American, they both end in American. If this claims to signify justice, freedom, etc why is the tint of the man's skin holding him back. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER. Take a look at the picture I provided below. With a little picture editing they both seem as equals in my eyes so why cant the rest of the world see this also. You would have to be very uneducated if you vote for a person to lead this country based on the color of his skin. Vote for McCain or Obama because you believe in what they say, vote for them because you know its the right thing to do, vote for them because of leadership skills. Don't blind yourself with this black and white stuff. Use your better judgement and vote for the better person.

Life isn't fair but there are exceptions.

Well this fun day wouldnt have happened if the boys at our lunch table didnt challenege Jas and I to a game of basketball. It started off as friendly competition. But after they said we suck Game was on. Me and Jas dished dirt back at them just as fast as it was said to us. The 1st meeting was delayed because i had to run an errand for my grandma. The boys beileved we was coping out so Jas and I decided to skip volleyball practice to prove to them we were dedicated. So we get there at 4:00pm and waited for them....and waited...and waited.....Finally showed up and the game was on. We decided to play teams first to break the ice. We are now accepted on the court with them. We have there respect and vis versa. But I really beileve we didnt because GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING BETTER THAN WHAT BOYS CAN DO!!!!

Clayton County..Losing It All

How did this all begin? Clayton schools had accreditation troubles earlier this decade, but was merely placed on probation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The latest saga began in November of 2007 when SACS received complaints and launched a new probe. SACS voted 33-0 in March 2008 that Clayton should lose its accreditation at the start of September unless nine goals were met, including installing a new school board. What would you do if tour local county was losing its accreditation? Do you think the new school board will make a change?
